Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly close activities by preparing schedules, reviewing account activity, and helping ensure financial deadlines are met.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording, reviewing, and validating financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and alignment to accounting standards and internal controls.
- Perform account reconciliations on a recurring basis, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Complete bank reconciliations by comparing statements to internal records and researching outstanding items.
- Analyze financial data across balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify unusual trends or posting errors.
- Support audit readiness by organizing documentation and maintaining clear records for reconciliations and entry support.
