SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - FINANCE TRANSFORMATION

Charlotte / Ballantyne, NC | Hybrid We're working with a growing financial services business looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team and help improve how Finance operates, reports and uses technology. This is a slightly different Senior Accountant opportunity - alongside core accounting and reporting, you'll get exposure to finance systems, automation, data, process improvement and cross-functional projects.

KEY SPECIFICATION

Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close & reporting Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Help identify and eliminate manual / inefficient Finance processes Support finance systems and ERP enhancements Improve reporting, data quality and financial processes Assist with automation and technology initiatives Support testing, reconciliation and implementation of new systems Help strengthen Finance controls and documentation Work with Accounting, FP&A, Technology, Treasury and Operations Support senior Finance leadership on strategic projects

KEY QUALIFICATIONS 3-7

years of accounting / finance experience Strong accounting fundamentals and financial reporting experience Experience with ERP / finance systems Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills Genuine interest in technology, automation, data or process improvement Strong problem-solving and communication skills Financial services / insurance experience preferred CPA or accounting qualification a plus This is a great role for someone looking to move out of public accounting or for someone currently working with a life insurance firm.
