Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting transactions related to accounts receivable, recurring accounts payable, and payroll support to promote timely and accurate processing.
- Review and enter vendor invoices, confirm supporting documentation, and coordinate payments in alignment with company procedures.
- Record accounting activity through journal entries and maintain accuracy within the general ledger.
- Process organizational transactions across assigned entities and ensure financial details are properly captured in the accounting records.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of bi-annual sales tax returns by compiling data and verifying report accuracy.
- Support year-end compliance tasks by organizing payment records and preparing 1099 documentation for applicable vendors.
- Reconcile accounting records and investigate discrepancies to help maintain reliable financial reporting.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to address transactional questions and improve consistency across accounting workflows.
