Job Description

Envolve Client Services Group owns and professionally manages apartment communities located throughout the southeastern United States. We are a company whose success is measured by our residents' satisfaction in making their apartment homes and community a great place to be. Envolve offers a wide variety of opportunities from residential apartment management, leasing, maintenance and more. We, the Envolve team are recruiting friendly self-motivated individuals with positive attitudes and a drive to succeed, to join our growing company. We are currently searching for Senior Property Accountants for our Corporate office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Take a leading role in preparing annual and monthly budgeting and forecasting Prepare various analysis reports as requested Assisting in or leading accounting or operations projects from time to time as requested Coordinating the annual audit process and implementation of effective internal controls Understanding apartment owner's goals and developing successful action plans to support them This position may serve as a key contact for owners on accounting related matters for their property(s) and as a Financial Business partner for one or more Regional Vice Presidents which will include being informed and able to meet, discuss and advise them on the financial aspects of their regions's business unit Effective communications with other team members and supervisors and willingness to assist LEDIC to reach company goals and objectives 10 hours or more of self-administered accounting or related training per year to keep accounting skills up to date,
Direct Supervision Required:

Organizational Relationships:
May be assigned supervision responsibilities of 1 to 2 departmental exempt or nonexempt employees Education and Work Experience Requirements 4 Year college degree or equivalent required 4 to 8 years experience in a related field
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
Very high level of understanding of accounting concepts, industry accounting practices, GAAP and internal controls Excellent understanding of General Ledger system and strong general PC skills Strong Excel skills including preparing and modifying spreadsheets Ability to lead others and work effectively with all levels of accounting and operations management Willingness train and to assist others perform their duties in a team environment workplace Excellent knowledge of apartment operations Ability to review and understand management agreements and their impact on apartment accounting and LEDIC to advise management Ability to anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner Pay Range $31.25 - $36.00/hour
