Job Description

Job Overview Coville, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting team in Troy, NC. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside one of our experienced accounting professionals before their upcoming retirement. The selected candidate will receive hands-on training and job shadowing to learn the responsibilities of the role and ensure a smooth transition. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone beginning their accounting career who is eager to learn and grow within a stable manufacturing company. Responsibilities Job shadow and train directly with the current Accounting team member. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and financial records. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation. Assist with month-end closing activities. Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel. Support the Accounting Department with daily administrative and financial tasks. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting (or currently completing one). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Previous internship or accounting experience is a plus but not required. Experience with accounting software is beneficial but not required. Why Join Coville?
