Responsible for compiling information for financial statements, review data, and following procedures to ensure financial compliance. Analyzes and resolves accounting issues as they relate to Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Payroll and serves as a resource to employees/department managers and auditors. Responsible for processing payroll and ensuring the timely and accurate payment of all employees of Columbus Regional Healthcare System. This position will also perform various and frequent projects, data analyses, and pro-forma projection work that will need completion in a timely and accurate fashion.Qualifications:
AAS degree in Business Administration or financial related field or a minimum of two years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Knowledge of Accounting and Payroll principles, practices, regulations and procedures. Skill in evaluating and analyzing technical payable activities and performing detailed computations. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.Preferred:
AAS degree in Business Administration or financial relatedExperience:
A minimum of one year of previous related experience is required. Significant exposure to and knowledge of accounting principles. Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications Excel and Word. Healthcare experience and solid accounting background is preferred. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within 3 months.Perks +
