Accountant - Mid-Level (Accountant II) Capital Credit Union is all about turning the improbable into what's possible. Come grow with us by becoming our newest accountant II based out of our Main Office in Bismarck! As our Accountant, you will maintain financial records to support accurate financial reporting for internal and external purposes. This role works closely with the VP of Accounting and Senior Accountant and owns assigned accounting areas while collaborating on broader reporting and operational processes. You'll support payroll, accounts payable, and reporting activities and serve as a knowledgeable resource for coworkers regarding general ledger accounts and expense reporting. Here's what you can expect: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for assigned areas Maintaining fixed asset and depreciation schedules Supporting payroll, accounts payable, and expense reimbursements in collaboration with the accounting team Reconciling assigned correspondent bank and general ledger accounts Communicating effectively with coworkers and members A supportive, positive environment with opportunity for growth Here's what we expect: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field 3+ years of accounting experience with progressively responsible duties Excel proficiency and strong attention to detail Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and interest in continued growth If you're interested in sharing your talents in an environment where you will grow personally and professionally, we want to hear from you.
