OF DUTIES 1.
The Casino Accountant is responsible for the daily revenue audits, associated accounting entries and gaming reports for slots, table games, cash desk and arcade. 2. The position is also responsible for monthly reconciliations and monthly reports in Excel. 3. The Casino Accountant is also responsible for the tax reporting associated with gaming and assisting with the coordination of the Enterprise record retention and office supplies programs. 4. Associated responsibilities include maintaining files/records consistent with the Enterprise record retention program and maintaining the required subsidiary ledgers. 5. Must be willing to apply the training provided to use the gaming application software required to extract and interpret the data. 6. The position will be responsible for other responsibilities and projects as required by the CFO. 7. Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately. 8. Other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITES
General:
Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Key Gaming License.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Four-year accounting or business degree required. Strong mathematical and analytical skills required. Must be able to communicate (both oral and written) effectively in the primary language used in the workplace.
Experience:
Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software. 10 keys by touch and data entry skills. Speed and accuracy required. Casino auditing and database experience preferred.
Physical:
Visual acuity; finger dexterity; repetitive motions, position requires sitting for long periods, reaching, and bending and lifting to 40 pounds.
