Job Description

SCOPE OF WORK

The Adolescent Addiction Counselor provides clinical oversight and direct counseling services for adolescents experiencing alcohol and substance use disorders. This position oversees daily youth program operations, delivers culturally responsive treatment services, ensures compliance with Tribal and Indian Health Service (IHS) standards, and collaborates with tribal programs, schools, courts, and community agencies to support youth and families.

This role is ideal for a compassionate, ethical, and motivated professional dedicated to strengthening youth recovery and community wellness.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily operations and clinical coordination of the Youth Treatment ProgramConduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plansProvide individual, group, and family counseling servicesMonitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as neededMaintain accurate and compliant clinical documentationCollaborate with Tribal departments, courts, schools, and external agenciesPrepare reports and ensure compliance with IHS, Tribal, and Federal regulationsDevelop and support prevention and community education initiativesProvide court documentation and testimony when requiredCoordinate aftercare planning and client follow-up

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree in related Behavioral Health field or specific training in adolescent addiction counseling with Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). Valid drivers license.
