Senior Accountant

Position Overview:

This role owns the accuracy, speed, and reliability of our financial data—and helps turn it into something leadership can use. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with direct exposure to leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close (target: ≤ 5 days) and deliver clean, accurate financials
• Reconcile key accounts and resolve issues at the root cause
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and chart of accounts
• Improve and automate workflows within Odoo ERP
• Ensure accurate COGS and inventory alignment across purchasing and production
• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
• Investigate variances and connect financials to operational drivers Curiosity & Insight Expectation We're not just looking for clean financials—we're looking for someone who is naturally curious about the business behind the numbers.

You'll be expected to ask "why", explore "what if," and proactively bring forward insights that improve performance. This role partners directly with leadership to challenge assumptions, investigate trends, and turn data into clear, actionable decisions across pricing, operations, and growth. What This Requires

• 3-7+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• Strong fundamentals (reconciliations, financial statements, accruals)
• Ability to connect financials to operational performance
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
• ERP experience (Odoo or similar preferred)
• Systems mindset—you fix problems and prevent them from coming back
• Comfort working with large, imperfect datasets
• Clear communicator—able to simplify complex insights Performance Metrics
• Close completed in ≤ 5 days with high accuracy
• 100% monthly reconciliations with minimal post-close adjustments (≤ 2)
• Manual work decreasing over time through automation and process improvement
