The Finance Director / Staff Accountant manages financial transactions, prepares budgets, and ensures compliance with accounting standards. This role works with multiple facets of the business department, including payroll and accounts payable, to process and reconcile accounts. The Finance Director / Staff Accountant works closely with other departments to support fiscal planning and transparency. The work requires considerable technical judgment to ensure accurate accounting of often complex and unusual financial transactions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Other knowledge and skills are:

  Accounting experience in Fund Accounting
• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including skilled in Excel
• 
  Knowledge of School ERP Pro Software preferred but not required
• 
  Knowledge of GAAP
•
