Greater Dover, NH area - No relocation candidates - Local candidates only KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization, who is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance team. This is a high-impact role focused on standard costing, inventory valuation, ERP implementation, and partnering with operations to improve costing accuracy and financial performance. Compensation Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Responsibilities Maintain and update standard costs, inventory valuation, and overhead rates Partner with operations and engineering to ensure accurate product costing Support ERP implementation, data validation, and process improvements Perform cost analysis, inventory reconciliations, and month-end close activities Analyze manufacturing variances and provide insights to improve profitability Develop and enhance cost accounting processes and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory, and GAAP Experience supporting ERP implementations or system migrations preferred Advanced Excel skills and experience with integrated ERP systems Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with operations, improving processes, and making a measurable impact within a growing organization.
