Position & Perks We are looking for the absolute best and brightest to join our team of dedicated professionals as an Accounting Intern in our Allendale New Jersey office. A successful Intern at Doherty Enterprises will possess a high attention to detail, strong organizational and critical thinking skills. Gain real life work experience while working towards your degree and get paid to do it! This is an on-site position in our Corporate Support Center located in Allendale New Jersey. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries for assigned activities Perform monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts Assist in the month-end closing process Collaborate with team for monthly variance analysis and documentation Assist in mid-year audit review by pulling requested testing samples Assist with updating schedules as assigned Assist the Accounting Director with ad-hoc projects Qualifications Pursuing College Degree-with an interest and aptitude to work in Accounting or Finance. Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail Able to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously. Proactive, self-starter
