full-time Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the accounting operations of an established organization. This role will assist with month-end close, general ledger activities, product costing, inventory accounting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, experience working within a manufacturing environment, and excellent analytical and Excel skills. Responsibilities Support monthly accounting close activities and financial reporting. Assist with product costing and related financial analysis. Maintain and analyze inventory-related accounting records. Research and resolve accounting and inventory discrepancies. Support general ledger activities and ensure accuracy of financial data. Work closely with accounting, finance, and operations teams. Utilize ERP systems to review and maintain accounting information. Assist with reporting, audits, and special accounting projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Previous Staff Accountant or similar accounting experience. Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred. Experience with product costing and inventory accounting . Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel . Experience with JD Edwards or a similar ERP system preferred. Knowledge of month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
