Full-Time, Onsite About the Opportunity Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Englewood, NJ, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment while gaining exposure to month-end close, inventory, cost accounting, and financial reporting. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts Analyze financial data and investigate variances Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed Assist with inventory reconciliations and manufacturing cost analysis Prepare financial reports and schedules for management Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing or cost accounting experience Exposure to inventory accounting and inventory reconciliations Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
