429641SR Job Summary We are seeking an Accountant to support the accounting team of an established manufacturing organization. This position will support month-end close, product costing, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and general accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment , strong Microsoft Excel skills, and hands-on experience with product costing and inventory . Responsibilities Support month-end close activities Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with product costing and cost analysis Perform inventory accounting and reconciliations Review and research inventory discrepancies Support general ledger accounting activities Analyze accounting and manufacturing data Work closely with accounting and operations teams Assist with reporting and other accounting projects as needed Qualifications Previous Staff Accountant, Cost Accountant, or similar accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience preferred Product costing experience required Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with inventory accounting Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) preferred Month-end close experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Strong analytical and organizational skills Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
