Senior Tax Accountant and Senior Audit Accountant Location:

Allentown, PA Status:

Buckno Lisicky & Company is seeking skilled and motivated Experienced Tax and Audit Accountants to join our dynamic firm. Key Responsibilities:

TAX

• Prepare a variety of tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual
• Research and apply relevant tax laws, concepts, and regulations
• Address tax matters related to corporate, partnership, payroll, sales, and individual taxation
• Respond to client inquiries and provide timely, professional guidance
• Anticipate and identify potential tax issues within engagements and recommend solutions
• Develop familiarity with assigned clients and begin to assess their unique tax needs
• Keep supervisors updated on engagement progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Interact directly with clients to gather documentation, resolve tax-related concerns, and provide recommendations AUDIT
• Support shareholders through all phases of audit engagements — including planning, fieldwork, and final reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Apply audit methodology and risk assessment techniques, including the evaluation of internal controls
• Manage moderately complex audit engagements with professionalism and accuracy
• Prepare and maintain clear and well-documented audit workpapers and client deliverables
• Work directly with clients to gather necessary information, resolve audit-related issues, and offer practical recommendations
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior staff as needed to promote team development

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA license required
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or comparable industry role
• Proficiency with UltraTax and working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Commitment to exceptional client service
