Job Description

Fund Accountant TPG Staffing - Highland Park, NJ, United States Our client, a growing financial technology and services company serving family offices, RIAs, and private trust companies, is hiring a Fund Accountant for its Edison, NJ office. You'll handle day-to-day accounting and reporting for assigned funds, from cash reconciliations and capital activity through period-end close and audit. What You'll Do Perform daily accounting for assigned funds and partnerships, including cash reconciliations and journal entries. Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, reconciling Trial Balance values to Partnership Closing and Holdings reports. Process capital calls, distributions, and trades for outside investments and partners; maintain commitment schedules. Prepare tax workpapers, maintain K-1 data, and calculate dividend and capital gain classifications. Prepare GAAP financial statements and support annual audits. Partner with operations, trading, tax, and client service teams to resolve discrepancies. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-3 years of financial services or public accounting experience with financial services clients. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and on a team. Fund, partnership, private equity, or family office accounting experience. Familiarity with capital calls, distributions, and K-1 reporting.
