Type:

full-time A growing private investment platform is looking to add a Fund Accountant to its expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of fund accounting experience who wants broad exposure to fund operations, investor reporting, and investment activity within a lean, entrepreneurial environment. Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, you'll have hands-on responsibility across a portfolio of alternative investment vehicles and work closely with finance leadership, investors, fund administrators, auditors, and other external service providers.

What You'll Do:
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual fund close processes
  • Maintain fund-level accounting records, general ledgers, and supporting schedules
  • Prepare capital call and distribution calculations
  • Assist with investor reporting and financial statement preparation
  • Reconcile investment activity, capital accounts, and fund cash movements
  • Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers
  • Track portfolio activity and support investment accounting
  • Prepare audit and regulatory reporting support
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and fund operations
  • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis for management
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of fund accounting experience
  • Background in private equity, venture capital, private credit, hedge funds, or other alternative investments
  • Understanding of closed-end fund structures and capital activity
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting and investor allocations
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with fund administrators and external auditors
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred
  • Experience with fund accounting or investor reporting systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills This is a high-visibility opportunity within a growing investment platform , offering broad exposure to fund operations and the opportunity to work closely with senior finance leadership.
