Job Description

CPA firm in Monmouth County is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a local business with deep roots. The ideal candidate will assist in managing our client's financial transactions, bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records and preparing income tax returns. 1-3 years of experience performing the following duties.
  • Execute bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Full charge bookkeeping
  • Closing of books
  • Preparation of income tax returns
  • Understanding of debits and credits is a must Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles
  • Familiarity with technical accounting standards
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, and MS Excel a must
  • Understanding of debits and credits
