Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and assist with timely payment handling across accounts payable activities.
- Monitor incoming customer payments, apply cash receipts, and help maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Prepare and issue invoices with close attention to billing accuracy, completeness, and follow-up needs.
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies, track balances, and support clean financial records.
- Assist in preparing recurring and ad hoc financial reports for internal review and decision-making.
- Complete bank and account reconciliations to ensure transactions are properly recorded and resolved.
- Enter accounting data into financial systems, maintain organized documentation, and support general ledger accuracy.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Sage 100 to manage daily accounting tasks, reporting, and record maintenance.
- Previous exposure to accounting, finance, or bookkeeping work through employment, internship, or academic training.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic accounting entries.
- Experience performing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, organizing, and reviewing financial information.
- Familiarity with Sage 100 or similar accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple routine tasks in an on-site setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented approach.
