Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounts payable process, including reviewing invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank accounts regularly and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of cash records.
- Assist with month-end close by preparing journal entries, supporting account analysis, and maintaining closing schedules.
- Maintain and update general ledger activity to support accurate financial statements and internal reporting.
- Prepare and review sales tax information and related filings in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Support corporate tax processes by organizing documentation and assisting with return preparation activities.
- Analyze financial data, identify variances, and help resolve accounting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather supporting documentation and improve the efficiency of accounting workflows.
