Job Description:
Senior Accountant of Technical Accounting Our client, located in Princeton, NJ, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant of Technical Accounting to join their team. Hybrid. $110k-$120k plus bonus.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
3-5 years of relevant experience. Big 4 experience is preferred. CPA preferred. Provide technical accounting guidance and recommendations for complex areas, including but not limited to, revenue recognition, business combinations, divestitures, lease accounting, and restructuring. Analyze complex and non-routine accounting issues. This includes the preparation of analyses along with recommendations that are coordinated with senior management and external auditors to arrive at sound accounting conclusions principally documented through position papers. Assist in preparing and reviewing the accounting and reporting for certain shared processes. Prepare consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet for business units in accordance with US GAAP. Participate with the implementation of new accounting standards across the Company and business divisions. Participate with the development and drafting of the Company's responses to proposals of standard setters and other rule making bodies. Assist with mergers & acquisitions, including working directly with the M&A department and third-party valuation firms, as well as the business to record the opening balance sheet
