Accountant - Entry Level

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Secaucus, New Jersey. In this role, you will support essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes. Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions while verifying accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and resolve any inconsistencies.
• Assist in handling accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and payment tracking.
• Record and review accounting entries, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to support monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Identify and address accounting issues, providing solutions to improve processes.
• Support other administrative and accounting tasks as needed to meet departmental goals.
