Staff Accountant Salary Range:
$60,000-$65,000 per year Position Summary Top client is looking to hire a staff accountant to join the corporate accounting team. This role will support a variety of accounting functions, including general ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to contribute to a collaborative team and continue developing their skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Review financial information and research discrepancies or variances. Support accounts receivable and accounts Payable activities. Maintain accurate general ledger records and financial documentation. Assist with financial reporting and analysis. Support sales tax and other accounting compliance activities as needed. Assist with audits and provide requested documentation. Work collaboratively with internal departments on accounting-related matters. Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and procedures. Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance preferred. One plus years of accounting experience. Understanding of basic accounting principles and
U.S. GAAP.
Strong Excelskills. Experience with an accounting or ERP systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow.
