Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team of an established organization. This position will have broad accounting responsibilities with a strong focus on month-end close, financial reporting, project accounting, revenue recognition, and cost analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge and experience working in a complex, operationally focused environment. Responsibilities Support month-end and year-end close Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Perform general ledger and balance sheet analysis Prepare and analyze financial reporting Handle Percentage-of-Completion (POC) accounting Support revenue recognition and project accounting Perform cost and variance analysis Assist with budgeting and forecasting Support inventory-related accounting Assist with audits and internal controls Partner with cross-functional departments on accounting and financial matters Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Percentage-of-Completion (POC) accounting experience strongly preferred Experience with cost accounting and/or project accounting Strong knowledge of US GAAP Advanced Excel skills Experience working with ERP/accounting systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities CPA preferred IFRS knowledge is a plus
