Workplace:
We are a full-service CPA firm located in Henderson, Nevada, providing tax, audit, consulting and bookkeeping services to a diverse client base of individuals and businesses.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare audit, review and compilation engagements for a variety of industries Perform audit fieldwork, testing, and documentation in accordance with professional standards Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff accountants Communicate professionally with clients to gather information and resolve questions Research accounting issues and communicate findings to supervisors Possess a working knowledge of firm technology and software Communicate with management about the performance of staff accountants Ensure engagements are completed accurately and timely while meeting firm quality standards Maintain knowledge of current accounting standards and auditing standards
Work Hours and Benefits:
Monday through Friday 36 hour flexible work week ( May 1st through December 31st) Additional hours required during tax season and deadlines Paid Holidays and Time Off Health Insurance Simple 401(k) with employer contribution
Qualifications and Skills:
Proficient in general and accounting related computer software with preferred experience in CCH Prosystem Engagement Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet a constant stream of deadlines Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Possess a positive work ethic and a drive to participate as a member of the team Demonstrate an ability to build relationships with clients, understand their needs and deliver timely and high-quality service
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting
  • Minimum 5-10 Years firm experience in Public Accounting
  • CPA license or CPA candidate preferred
Pay:
From $80,000.00 per year
