Project Accountant

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate tracking of costs, budgets, and revenue.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Three years' experience in accounting or financial management or equivalent combinations of training and experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in maintenance of corporate accounting systems related to collection and analysis of costs and/or budgets. Prepare or assist in the preparation of general accounting and financial documents for divisions, subsidiaries, or company. Prepare various cost/statistical reports (i.e., fringe benefit cost analysis, administrative overhead expense reports, corporate budgets, etc.) for corporate management as required. Prepare financial data for reporting and analytical review as required. Prepares and distributes monthly reports on project status including budget and forecasting for project reviews. Works with project team to reflect changes in project scope or timeline. Prepares final project close out. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
