Senior Accountant With ongoing growth and increasing demands, our need for qualified, energetic and passionate team members also grows. We are looking for a focused Senior Tax Manager to join our diverse team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the accounting principles and a proven track record of consulting clients on both business and tax issues. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking and the ability to drive continuous improvement. As a Senior Tax Manager, you'll enjoy working in a team setting, mentoring our Staff Accountants and leading special projects.
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet client and firm objectives
  • Manages multiple engagement teams in a way that demonstrates success and improvements
  • In-depth knowledge of income tax law. Will be responsible for all aspects of tax services, including preparation of Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Estates, Gift Tax and Trust Returns
  • Successfully manage accounting and consulting engagements; including balance sheets, income statements and cashflow statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, professional standards and firm policies
  • Foster a positive work ethic that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients, focus on understanding their needs and deliver timely and high-quality service
  • Mentor staff accountants through leadership and training objectives
  • Takes ownership of billing/budget procedures which may include addressing difficult billing, collection, or budget matters
  • Participate in networking and business development activities for personal and professional growth Qualified candidates will have:
  • Bachelor's or Masters in Accounting required
  • 6 years' firm experience in public accounting
  • CPA license required Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $110,000.
