Job Description

UConnectCare Behavioral Health Services is a rapidly expanding nonprofit organization located in Western NY that has been offering help to those impacted by substance use disorder through prevention, treatment, and recovery services for over 50 years. We are hiring:
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Chief Fiscal Officer with the day to day operations of the finance office, grant monitoring, reports and projects. May be required to work additional hours. Hourly non-exempt position. Full time = 35 hour work week.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, discretion and privacy regarding all facets of financial information and activities at all times. Maintain and track all grant activities. Voucher or invoice grant related contracts monthly per contract. Assist grant coordinator with budgets as needed. Monitor spending on contracts using spreadsheets. Review grant expenses before they go to accounts payable. Request funds through payment management system and prepare the FFR quarterly. End of grant requirements. Process all fringe benefits and reconcile fringe benefits monthly. Prepare quarterly review of the accounts payable and general ledger allocations. Adhere to monthly closeout procedures and quarterly reconciliation. Backup to accounts payable, account receivables, payroll and inventory. Assist the Chief Fiscal Officer with reporting to OASAS on capital projects and quarterly EEO reports and DOH quarterly reporting. Assist with inventory and tagging equipment at several sites. Assist in the whole agency yearly inventory as needed. Assist with reconciling the inventory reports. Attend trainings or seminars to keep skills current. Applicant must have a valid drivers license and method of transportation . Applicant must be free from active addiction and non program participant. Pre employment background check/post offer drug screening required.
EOE Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
