Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Project Controller to support a leading construction management organization in White Plains, NY. This individual will work closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, and Superintendents and will be responsible for project accounting, job costing, forecasting, cash management, and project administration. Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Review and approve subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices. Assist project teams with monthly owner requisitions. Manage subcontractor compliance, including waivers, bonds, and billing requirements. Support monthly project forecasting, including projected fees and percent-complete analysis. Process subcontractor and owner change orders. Process labor and AP job-cost transfers. Monitor project cash positions and complete monthly cash analyses. Prepare project cash forecasts. Partner closely with Project Management, Operations Accounting, and the Controller. Perform additional project accounting responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent relevant experience. 5+ years of construction accounting experience. Strong understanding of project accounting, job costing, forecasting, internal controls, and cash management. Experience reviewing subcontractor billing and project financials. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with project and operational leadership.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with

CCIP/OCIP

project administration and analysis. Experience with Spectrum construction accounting software. General contractor or construction management experience is strongly preferred.
