Sales Tax Accountant:
Prepare and support sales and use tax filings across multiple state and local jurisdictions. Research tax requirements and manage registrations as the business expands into new jurisdictions. Reconcile sales tax accounts and investigate discrepancies. Maintain exemption documentation and support sales tax audits, notices, and compliance requests. Partner with accounting and operations teams to improve sales tax processes and reporting. Qualifications for the
Sales Tax Accountant:
4+ years of sales and use tax, indirect tax, or related accounting/compliance experience. Experience with multi-state sales tax filings, registrations, and jurisdictional requirements. Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP or accounting systems; Sage Intacct experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Taxation, or a related field preferred.
