Job Description
Job Summary We are a Frozen Food Manufacturer seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Costing Analyst to join our team. You are responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and controlling production costs to ensure operational efficiency and profitability. This role involves working closely with production, finance, and supply chain teams to track cost variances, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Analyze and monitor production costs , including materials, labor, and overhead. Prepare and maintain standard cost models and update them as needed. Perform variance analysis (actual vs. standard costs) and identify root causes. Support budgeting and forecasting related to production expenses. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve cost efficiency and reduce waste. Evaluate cost impacts of process changes, new products, or equipment investments . Maintain accurate cost data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Prepare regular reports on cost performance and profitability . Assist in inventory valuation and reconciliation processes. Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards . Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics , or related field. 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting or production costing . Strong knowledge of costing methods (standard costing, activity-based costing). Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Solid understanding of manufacturing processes . Pay:
$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
