Job Description
Accounting Coordinator We are looking for a hands-on, accounting-minded professional to manage day-to-day AP and AR functions for our construction company while supporting the CFO with accounting and financial projects. This role works closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate job costing, billing, and financial records. Key Responsibilities Process vendor and subcontractor invoices and payments, including reviewing job coding and required documentation. Prepare customer invoices, process payments, track collections, and follow up on outstanding receivables. Assist with job costing, change orders, retainage, and lien waivers. Reconcile vendor, customer, and general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close. Maintain accurate accounting records and resolve billing and payment discrepancies. Support the CFO with Excel-based financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting projects. Work closely with Project Managers and other team members to resolve issues and keep financial information accurate and up to date. Qualifications 3+ years of AP/AR or general accounting experience. Construction industry experience preferred. Knowledge of job costing, progress billing, retainage, and lien waivers. Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills. Sage experience highly preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
