$85-100K/yr Commensurate with experience + benefits
Status:
Full-Time and Permanent Employment - On-site The Senior Accountant will supervise and perform many accounting operations to produce reliable financial records and filings.
  • Review and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls
  • Perform weekly and monthly GL Account analysis
  • Supervision over bookkeeping and payroll department to ensure quality data entry and training as necessary
  • Oversight and modification of payroll procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly internal financial statements
  • Analyze period changes and provide management with variance analysis
  • Prepare weekly and monthly general journal entries
  • Compliance with month-end closing process
  • Monthly and quarterly sales tax filing, including multi-jurisdictional filings, compliance and registrations
  • Direct involvement of imminent ERP integration
  • Provide support to the VP, Controller and CFO as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Five plus years of relevant experience, manufacturing required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Sales tax experience a must, multi-jurisdictional sales tax registration and reporting a plus Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $85,000.
