Staff Accountant

Position Overview:

The staff accountant will support the financial operations of the company, working closely with leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting work and contributing to higher-level financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules Support job costing, WIP reporting, and construction-specific accounting processes Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Supervise and support accounting staff as needed Identify opportunities for process improvement and scalability

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred or in progress) 3+ years of accounting experience (construction industry experience strongly preferred) Strong understanding of job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
