Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports and balance sheets, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Complete corporate tax returns and related filings for business entities while maintaining compliance with applicable requirements.
- Reconcile bank activity and review discrepancies to ensure records are complete and properly aligned.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including the preparation and review of journal entries.
- Update supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts such as prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets.
- Assist with audit support by organizing documentation and responding to financial information requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and recommend practical process enhancements.
- Contribute to month-end close activities and provide additional accounting support as business needs evolve.
