full-time Accounting Administrator Onsite Plainview NY Our client, a growing construction company, is seeking an Accounting Administrator to support the accounting team with day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Responsibilities Process and enter Accounts Payable invoices Record and post Accounts Receivable transactions Assist with payment processing and collections follow-up Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation Support month-end closing activities Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding account inquiries Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications 2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Experience with AP and AR data entry and processing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within a construction setting.
