$100,000 to $120,000 What You'll Do Prepare monthly financial statements Maintain and audit the general ledger Prepare year-end and supplemental schedules for the company's outside CPA Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring Set up and monitor wire transfers to suppliers; track daily bank activity Help manage lines of credit and customer credit terms Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable staff Assist with HR administration alongside the company's PEO (ADP) — personnel files, onboarding, payroll processing, benefits enrollment Help prepare and review business agreements (employment agreements, NDAs, supplier agreements, leases) Support review and negotiation of insurance policies (general liability, product liability, cargo, credit insurance) What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and Excel High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Comfort working in a small, closely-held business with direct exposure to ownership and cross-functional responsibilities Preferred CPA or CPA-track Experience in food distribution, wholesale, perishables, or commodity-based businesses; seafood industry experience a plus Familiarity with wire transfers, banking relationships, and lines of credit Exposure to HR administration/payroll, ideally alongside a PEO Comfort reviewing or drafting business agreements Familiarity with customs duties or international supplier payments The Environment Small, family-run importer/distributor with a close-knit team and daily interaction with ownership.
