Job Description
G4 Construction Services LLC is a general contractor based in Rochester, New York, specializing in residential and commercial building, renovation, and remodeling projects. The company is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship from initial planning through project completion, with a focus on efficiency, strong attention to detail, and client satisfaction. We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for the timely and accurate accounting of assigned residential and commercial real estate companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and real estate, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate and organized financial records to support the company's overall financial health and decision-making. Process all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner. Assist with accounts receivable collection efforts. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and bank statements. Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to record and track financial activity. Assist with tax return preparation and provide support during external audits. Monitor and track project-related expenses to support budgeting and cost control. Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Support the integrity and efficiency of daily financial operations. Review commercial leases for accurate rent escalations, related rent charges, and specialty clauses. Assist with similar duties and responsibilities at affiliate companies. Perform additional duties as assigned.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting or finance required. Proficiency in accounting software required. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and tax processes required. Experience in the construction or real estate industries preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.BENEFITS

The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMBenefits
