Prepare and post general ledger journal entries with accuracy and timeliness.
Lead and optimize accounts payable processes, ensuring efficient, accurate handling of transactions and purchase orders while identifying opportunities for workflow improvements.
Partner with the finance team to prepare and review monthly financial reports, supporting program monitoring and ensuring compliance with financial standards.
Support monthly close activities for assigned programs, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Ensure full compliance with organizational and finance policiesBe detail-oriented and experienced in accounting while supporting key financial operations within our organization.

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the organizations financial operations by ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all accounting functions. This position is responsible for managing general ledger activities, overseeing accounts payable processes, and contributing to the monthly close and financial reporting cycle. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while upholding high standards of accuracy and professionalism.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance plus experience working as an accountant in a high paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Products (specifically Excel)Experience with Accounting software programs and preferredCandidate must be authorized to work in the US without the need forVisa SponsorshipOther Benefits Include:
Competitive Salary Offered- 55,000
- 75,000
- depending on experience and education.
