Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with general accounting functions as well as exposure to construction accounting, including AIA billing, WIP reporting, and job cost analysis.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesSupport preparation of financial statements and management reportingAnalyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracyAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisMaintain work-in-progress (WIP) schedules and support project reportingPrepare and process AIA billings and related customer invoicingMonitor job costs and assist with project profitability reportingWork closely with project managers and operational leaders to ensure accurate financial dataSupport annual audits and special accounting projects
