Part-Time Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Akron. As a Part-Time Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. Your main duties will include preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve profitability
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable
• Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in tax preparation and filing
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Proficient in MS Office software, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA certification or working towards certification
• Experience in the finance industry or with small businesses
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations

Salary:

$1100 per month (based on 20 hours per week)

Location:

This is a part-time position located in Akron. The candidate must have a valid biometric passport for employment.
