Job Overview Join our dynamic finance team as a Staff Accountant and become a vital contributor to our organization's financial health and integrity. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and supporting both internal and external audits. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial records, streamline accounting processes, and provide valuable insights through detailed analysis. Duties Prepare, review, and record journal entries to ensure accurate general ledger activity, including debits & credits and account analysis. Conduct inventory reconciliations and account reconciliations to verify financial data across multiple systems. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including ledger analysis and financial statement preparation aligned with GAAP standards. Utilize Excel data analysis skills for detailed financial reporting, variance analysis, and data entry tasks involving large datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to handle confidential information securely while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a solid understanding of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management. Experience working with financial software; knowledge of technical accounting standards is desirable. Excellent numeracy skills combined with attention to detail for account reconciliation and balance sheet management. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while demonstrating strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and supporting customer service initiatives related to financial inquiries. $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
