Job Description
The Cost Accountant allocates labor, material, and overhead costs to product costing, calculates production and overhead rates, and tracks productivity within production areas. This role prepares monthly financial reports, ensures compliance with accounting controls, and supports inventory accuracy through standard costing and testing. The Cost Accountant will also serve as a support role for business intelligence initiatives.
