• Job Summary
• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to develop broad-based skills across both general accounting and construction accounting. The ideal candidate will bring a foundational understanding of accounting principles, a strong work ethic, and the ability to collaborate effectively with operations teams across the organization.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• + Prepare and complete monthly account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of any discrepancies.

+ Determine, calculate, and process sales and use tax filings in compliance with applicable state and local regulations. + Manage payroll tax withholding calculations and coordinate timely remittances to the appropriate taxing authorities. + Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. + Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with company policies and GAAP. + Support the preparation of financial reporting and management reports as needed. + Assist with internal or external audit requests by gathering supporting documentation and reconciliations. + Support ad hoc financial analysis as needed for senior leadership. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within finance and accounting to enhance efficiency and control.

• Qualifications
• + Bachelor's degree in accounting.

+ Foundational understanding of accounting principles. + Meaningful experience in Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) + Analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong attention to detail, accuracy and process flow + Effective communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a service-minded approach. \#debra \#LI-LV1 \#LI-Onsite
