Job Description:

Staff Accountant Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance and accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting core financial operations, and contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in day-to-day accounting functions, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed Help prepare financial statements and internal reports Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Analyze variances and research discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting Assist with audits and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of general accounting principles Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Experience with tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, Workday, Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Why work with Robert Half?
