ABOUT THE ROLE
Crustless Creations is seeking an experienced, dependable General Accountant to support our growing food manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on accounting role with responsibility for day-to-day accounting activities, general ledger accuracy, reconciliations, AP/AR oversight, month-end close, and inventory and cost accounting. We are open to both a full-time candidate or an experienced accounting professional seeking a reduced-hours schedule. We also offer flexibility in scheduling and a hybrid work arrangement. For this position, practical manufacturing accounting experience is more important to us than a specific degree or CPA designation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
General Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations.
- Support and participate in month-end and year-end close.
- Assist with financial statements and management reporting.
- Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and internal controls.
- Assist with audits as needed. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Oversee AP and AR activities.
- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices.
- Process vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements.
- Process customer invoices and credit memos.
- Post and reconcile customer payments.
- Monitor outstanding balances and resolve billing or payment discrepancies. Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting
- Maintain and reconcile inventory accounting records.
- Monitor inventory valuation and inventory-related general ledger accounts.
- Analyze inventory and manufacturing variances.
- Support physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Support product costing and cost analysis.
- Review and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Work closely with operations to investigate and resolve inventory and costing discrepancies.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our strongest candidate will have:
- Hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with inventory and cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Experience participating in or managing month-end close.
- Working knowledge of AP and AR processes.
- Experience working within a manufacturing ERP system.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, reconciliations, and pivot tables.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with operations and leadership.
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is welcome, as is a CPA designation; however, relevant hands-on manufacturing accounting experience will outweigh formal credentials for this position.
SCHEDULE & WORK ARRANGEMENT
We are open to finding the right arrangement for the right candidate.
- Full-time or reduced-hours schedules will be considered.
- Flexible scheduling.

- On-site presence will be required as appropriate to support our manufacturing and inventory operations.
COMPENSATION
$70,000-$82,000 annualized full-time equivalent, based on experience and qualifications. Compensation for a reduced-hours schedule will be prorated based on the agreed-upon schedule.
