Job Description Maintain and manage fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules, within accounting software systems. Analyze cost and expense accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness; investigate discrepancies, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable recommendations to support profitability. Prepare and process sales commission reports by tracking orders, invoices, and payments; generate commission invoices and communicate details to sales representatives. Prepare journal entries and month-end accruals; reconcile general ledger accounts to supporting documentation to ensure financial accuracy. Monitor and communicate insurance requirements to vendors, customers, and plant personnel to ensure compliance. Support compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including required reporting. Assist with month-end close processes, as well as forecasting and budgeting for location and intercompany accounts. Provide cross-functional support within the accounting department to ensure operational continuity. Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned. Key Requirements Must have 2+ years of experience with financial accounting with general ledger and labor analysis
