Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and payment activity while maintaining accurate accounts payable records.
- Monitor incoming customer payments and update accounts receivable balances in a timely manner.
- Prepare and post journal entries to support routine accounting activity and month-end close tasks.
- Review financial records and complete reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurate and fully supported.
- Record adjusting entries and accruals as needed to reflect proper financial results for each reporting period.
- Assist with general ledger maintenance by identifying discrepancies and resolving issues through careful analysis.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to improve accuracy in financial reporting.
